POLWEL Employment Services Division provides job placements and opportunities for officers who are retiring as well as retired, from Singapore Police Force and Home Team Departments.

We seek to maximize the experiences and knowledge of our retired police officers through the re-employment of their services to various public and commercial entities.

On 1st May 2004, WDA (Workforce Development Agency) approved POLWEL as an Assessment Organization under the National Skills Recognition System (NSRS).

Since 1st November 2002, the National Skills Recognition System (NSRS) initiated by the Standards, productivity and Innovation Board Singapore (SPRING) has been adopted as the assessment for licensed security guards. In addition, with effect from 1st May 2005, only persons who are trained and certified competent can be deployed as security guards, and all security agencies are required to achieve and maintain 100% trained guards as part of their licensing conditions for security guard industry.
